TENDER NOTICE FOR PREPARATION OF DOCUMENTARY

 

 

Sealed tenders are invited form reputed, sales tax registered firms / advertising agencies for preparing an introductory / documentary, including video titled “Cotton– From Field to Fashion” of 15-20 minutes duration. Interested parties are requested to submit their Technical and Financial Proposals showing past experience, human & technological resources and bids for preparing the presentation / documentary video latest by 11:30 AM, 23rd November 2015. The tenders will be opened at 12:00 noon on the same day in the Committee Room of this Ministry in the presence of the bidders. The bid should be accompanied with a Bank Draft/Pay Order of Rs.100,000/- in the name of Ministry of Textile Industry as earnest money. The contents / Script of the documentary will be prepared by successful bidder with the coordination of this ministry. First version of the video will be required to be provided by 30th November 2015. Subject:-        DOCUMENTARY TITLED “COTTON-FROM FIELD TO FASHION”.

 

                        This Ministry has invited tenders for preparation of presentation/documentary including a video titled “Cotton-From Field to Fashion”. The interested parties are required to submit their bids latest by 16-11-2015 which will be opened on the same day.

 

2.                     The contents/script of the documentary video will contain the following information:-

 

                              i.        A brief description of origin of cotton cultivation in the indus valley.

                            ii.        Old & current methods of cotton cultivation.

                           iii.        Present position of cotton crop in Pakistan.

                           iv.        Production of contamination free cotton.

                            v.        Overview of cotton production in the world.

                           vi.        Revolution in cotton production due to Bt varieties.

                          vii.        Strengths and weaknesses of textile industry in Pakistan.

                        viii.        Role of natural and artificial fibre in fabric manufacturing.

                           ix.        Contribution of cotton production in the national & international economy.

                            x.        Value added additions in the textile industry.

                           xi.        New fashion trends of textiles.

                          xii.        Employment opportunities and alleviation of poverty by development of textile industry.

Subject:-        INVITATION OF TENDERS FOR PREPARATION OF DOCUMENTARY TITLED “COTTON-FROM FIELD TO FASHION”.

 

                        The International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC), Washington, USA is holding its 74th Plenary Meeting in the first week of December, 2015 in Mumbai, India. The next Plenary Meeting of ICAC will be held in Islamabad, Pakistan in the last quarter of 2016. ICAC has extended invitation to the Government of Pakistan to be represented in the Mumbai Session and also make a presentation/documentary including a video in the said Session. For this Purpose, this Ministry has invited tenders for preparation of presentation/documentary including a video titled “Cotton-From Field to Fashion”. The interested parties are required to submit their bids latest by 16-11-2015 upto 10:00 AM which will be opened at 12:00 Noon on the same day.

 

2.                     The terms & conditions of the tender are as under:-

 

                                      i.        The firms/companies having sales tax registration and valid NTN are eligible to take part in the tenders.

 

                                    ii.        Each interested party will submit technical and financial proposals in the sealed covers.

 

                                   iii.        The technical proposal should contain the details regarding past experience, human & technological resources in the following format:-

 

a)    DETAIL OF WORKS DONE.

                                   iv.        The financial bids for preparing the presentation/documentary video will contain quotations/rates.

 

                                    v.        Each participant will submit a Bank Draft/Pay Order of Rs. 100,000/- as earnest money in the name of Ministry of Textile Industry alongwith the bid.

 

                                   vi.        The earnest money of successful bidder will be retained till completion of work and the same in respect of other bidders will be returned within two days of the opening of tenders.

 

                                  vii.        The successful bidder will be paid the cost of the work as given below:-

 

Ø  25% at the time of award of contract.

Ø  25% at the time of submission of draft version of the documentary/video.

Ø  Remaining 50% after the approval of final version of the documentary/video.

                                viii.        The video and its audio shall be of broad cast quality.

 

                                   ix.        The firm/agency should possess UHD shooting and recording equipment.

 

                                    x.        The minimum requirement is 50 kbps camcorders.
